BRAIN. BODY. BEHAVIOUR
Fiona Chapman Blog
Fiona writes about women’s health, burnout, stress, sleep, energy, changing hormones, eating habits, wellbeing and the everyday pressures that can make it harder to feel like yourself.
These articles are for women who have spent a long time looking after everyone else and are noticing that their energy, body, health or capacity feel different. You may still be getting things done, but it is taking more out of you than it used to.
No. The articles are designed to offer information, perspective and practical ideas, but they do not replace individual medical advice. If you have new, persistent or concerning symptoms, speak with your GP or another appropriate health professional.
Can a naturopath help with stress, fatigue or changing hormones?
A qualified naturopath can help you look at lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, stress and other health factors that may be affecting how you feel. Fiona’s work combines naturopathy with wellbeing coaching, while encouraging appropriate medical care and investigation where needed.
Where should I start if I do not know what support I need?
If you are unsure where to begin, the Where to Start Call is a complimentary 15-minute conversation to talk through what has been happening and get clearer on your next step.

I know this world because I've lived it
For over twenty years I worked in audio visual production and corporate theatre. High-pressure environments, big moving parts, national and international travel, corporate clients and three children at home. I know what it means to be the person who holds it all together. I also know what it costs.
I came down with a virus during one of the busiest periods of my life. Everyone else got better. I didn't. What I eventually understood was that my body had been running on reserve for years: hormonal imbalances, burnout in the making, and a virus was simply the thing that made it impossible to keep going. I was a naturopath. I knew all the things. And it still got me.
That's when I understood what my clients are living at a level that no textbook could have taught me.
I completed my Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy because a naturopath once sat across from me and actually listened and got me back on my feet. I wanted to be that person for someone else. And I kept going deeper into coaching methodology, behaviour change, identity work, and neurofeedback because I kept seeing the same wall.
The body would get better. Life would press on them again. And within months they'd be back where they started. Something was missing. The Spaghetti Freeway is my answer to that wall.
